Ranking — of — tracked cards
The leaderboard ranks only cards with real market evidence: a confirmed recent sale or an observed sale price. The rest of the catalog is modeled (graded population × baseline pricing) and hasn't actually traded, so we hold it back until a real sale confirms the value. That keeps the ranking honest instead of padding it with cards nobody is buying.
- On the board: a confirmed sale in the last 30 days, or an observed peak / last-sold price. A card's confidence rises as more sales land.
- Held back: estimated-only cards with no real sales yet. They join the ranking automatically the moment they trade.
